    • August 11: Float Trip Field Day - Lower Cedar WMA

      August 11, 2026 - 4:30 pm - 8:00 pm 

      Float: Cedar Valley Park

      2250 Blakely Blvd SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403 


      The conservation team at Heartland Co-op and the Lower Cedar WMA are hosting a float on the river and welcome farmers to learn about projects happening in the Cedar River along with fun discussions from speakers regarding water quality, geology, biology, and the creatures roaming in and out of the water! 


      DINNER included! 


      Bonfire to follow after float!


      Float launch at Cedar Valley Park – pull out at Rochester Park – 3.5 hour float
